Peter Roylance - Principal Lawyer
Peter is a Partner at EMR Mitrakas, having joined the firm in 2013 following his admission to legal practice.
Since then, he has developed broad experience across both the legal and administrative aspects of the firm.
Before joining EMR Mitrakas (formerly Eugenia Mitrakas & Co), Peter gained valuable insight into the legal profession through his work at the Victorian Bar.
He was appointed Partner in 2023 and continues to play a key role in the firm’s growth and client service.
Peter assists clients with a broad range of legal matters including probate and estate administration, wills and estate planning, commercial leases, conveyancing, and notarial work.
Whether he's helping someone navigate a property transaction, prepare a will, obtain or administer probate, or act as a notary for overseas documents, Peter is focused on achieving the right outcome for your matter.
In 2024, Peter joined the committee of the Southern Solicitors Law Association as an ordinary committee member, contributing to the support and representation of legal professionals in the southern region of Melbourne.
In June 2025, he was admitted as a notary public by the Supreme Court of Victoria, further expanding the services he provides to clients, particularly in relation to international documents and cross-border transactions.
Outside the office, Peter enjoys making the most of Melbourne’s vibrant culture and can often be found at local sporting fixtures or live music events.
